Fall of the Alpha Throne
I was the Alpha Queen.
Now, I’m just an Alpha murderer…
...and the survivor of a coup.
Mom had me banished and declared herself the High Alpha Queen. My cousin nearly had me killed.
Both of them captured my fated mate. Both of them are rushing, pell-mell, across our country in a breakneck attempt at magically forcing every human around to become a shifter.
All of this could’ve been prevented if I’d just pushed back against Mom way back when I lived at home.
The only thing I can do, in the face of all this destruction: free my Fated Mate and stop Mom.
That’s not me saying it’ll be easy. I did actively avoid learning magic because of how much I hated Mom using it, so what little I remember is confined to what happens in potions room.
I’m also going to have to work my way in with Mom’s people, if I want to have any hope of overthrowing her, so it’s not as if I can fully shut them down.
That doesn’t mean they won’t have me arrested on sight…or worse. But that’s a risk I’ll have to take if I’m ever going to get them on my side and end this suffering for good.
This is the final book in the Shifter Country trilogy.
